Position :- Engineer Safety S&OR CBM
Qualification :-
- B.E / B.Tech in Engineering with Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognised Institute or any other equivalent international qualification in Safety engineering OR
- M Tech (Industrial Safety) or M Tech HSE from any recognised university/college (Regular course)
Experience :-
- For BE/ BTech + Diploma in Safety holders - 3 years relevant work experience in upstream (E&P) Oil/ Gas / Petchem / refinery/ chemical industry.
- For MTech in safety - 1 year relevant work experience in upstream (E&P) Oil/ Gas / Petchem / refinery/ chemical industry.

Job Description :-
Job Responsibilities :
- Coordinate, guide and facilitate on the Safety aspects during project development, drilling and production operations
- Conduct Safety assurance at the drilling sites, well sites, gas installations including pre-start-up safety inspections with a view to identify the unsafe conditions
- Interact with contractors, organise regular safety meetings and ensure HSE compliance at the Installations
- Facilitate and coordinate the line management in implementation of Reliance group requirement like Control of Work, incident management, Risk assessment
- Organise regular safety training, education and awareness programme
- Provide data for obtaining the statutory permissions, consents and clearances related with HSE
- Coordinate with the safety officers of the service providers and ensure all safety compliances are met
- Coordinate, facilitate and assist line management in implementation of HSE management system
- Ensure timely compliances of legal/ statutory requirement as per Oil Mines Regulation (OMR), Mines Act and other applicable acts, rules and regulations
- Timely submission of all returns, information and reports
Skills & Competencies :
- Good knowledge of HSE management system, process safety, basics of fundamental science and engineering
- Ability to assess and review of P&I diagram, chart, plant modification diagram etc
- Knowledge of Operating Management System
- Knowledge of various Risk Assessment Techniques Such as HAZOP, QRA, LOPA, FMEA, FTA,SIL etc., Incident Investigation Techniques
- Professional skill/ Soft skill as required to communicate with Top Management
- Audit Report Writing Skill
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 (Internal Auditor/ Implementer level)
