Introduction

Fields completed 14-of-16 passes for 156 yards and three touchdowns. In his longest preseason outing, Fields completed passes to 10 different players over five drives for a rating of 146.9.

Fields: "It's all execution" "I told the o-line many times that they protected well today.

Fields tossed his first preseason touchdown, a 22-yarder to Ryan Griffin. Fields completed five throws for 55 yards on the Bears' 7-play, 80-yard drive to put them up 7-0.

Fields is improving, per Coach Eberflus. "Young and inexperienced, I said yesterday. He wanted to play. He advanced by feeling comfortable, controlling the offence, and doing his thing. Probably tonight."

On the subsequent possession, the Browns' Cade York missed a 58-yard field goal attempt, giving the Bears the ball at their own 48.

Fields' 18-yard pass to Equanimeous St. Brown put David Montgomery in the red zone. Dante Pettis scored on Fields' 12-yard pass with 13:49 left in the half.
