A woman's body was found near Manville, Indiana after floods in Jefferson County.

Amber Brierly was with her husband and two sons Saturday night when it rained. Their power outage spelled trouble.

"Everyone was affected. We heard creeks moving, and then we were flooded,” she added.

. In three hours, eastern Jefferson and Switzerland County received nine inches of rain, which the Brierlys characterised as an ocean.

Two homes and six occupants in Jefferson County were carried away. One was discovered secure and unharmed.

Woman's body was located under a bridge. WHAS11 News spoke with her family Sunday.

After searching all night for the woman, they now seek for their goods and home, which are spread across kilometres of land and water.
